Michael Barnett
Executive Vice President, Institutional
Michael Barnett is Executive Vice President at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he is responsible for growing the firm’s institutional business. He is a member of Fidelity Canada’s Senior Executive Team.

Mr. Barnett joined Fidelity in 1999 and has over 30 years' industry experience. He has held numerous senior leadership roles at Fidelity. Mr. Barnett first became head of Fidelity Canada’s institutional business in 2006, relocating to the U.S. as head of North American sales in 2010 before returning to Canada as head of Fidelity Canada Institutional in 2012.

Client management

Rajan Burney
Vice President, Institutional Client Management
Rajan Burney is Vice President, Institutional Client Management, at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he leads the Canadian team responsible for the investment servicing primarily of Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, endowment, foundation and taxable corporate asset clients, as well as banks and insurance companies.

Mr. Burney joined Fidelity as a Senior Fund Analyst in 1999. In this role, he was responsible for communicating the Fidelity investment story to plan sponsors, conducting fund analysis and managing the FundsNet program of external managers and funds. Before joining Fidelity, Mr. Burney was an analyst with SEI Investments’ asset consulting practice in Toronto, where he was responsible for the analysis of pension, endowment and foundation assets of plan sponsors and portfolios managed primarily by institutional investment managers.
Lawrence Lim
Director, Institutional Client Management
Lawrence Lim is a Director, Institutional Client Management, at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he is responsible for investment servicing of defined benefit, defined contribution, endowment, foundation and taxable corporate asset accounts.

Mr. Lim joined the firm in 2013 and has over 20 years’ industry experience. Before taking his current role, he served as Vice President of institutional client services at investment management firm Standard Life Investments Inc.
Vincent Yu
Director, Institutional Client Management
Vincent Yu is Director, Institutional Client Management, at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he is responsible for the investment servicing of defined benefit, defined contribution, endowment, foundation and taxable corporate asset accounts.

Mr. Yu joined Fidelity in 2015 and has over ten years’ industry experience. Before assuming his current role, he was an Investment Analyst on Fidelity’s Institutional Products and Marketing team, covering Canadian and U.S. equity strategies.
Jean-Philippe Provost
Director, Institutional Client Management
Jean-Philippe Provost is Director, Institutional Client Management, at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, based in Montreal, he is responsible for the investment servicing of defined benefit, defined contribution, endowment, foundation, taxable corporate assets and family office clients, primarily in the Ottawa region, Quebec and the Maritimes.

Mr. Provost joined Fidelity in 2025 from Desjardins, where he served in investment and management roles, particularly in its group retirement savings business. Before joining Desjardins in 2018, he served as an investment consultant for defined benefit and defined contribution plans at Willis Towers Watson.
Vanessa Yankey
Institutional Services Manager
Vanessa Yankey is Institutional Services Manager at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the Institutional Client Management team in developing and servicing strong relationships with our plan sponsor client base. Ms. Yankey is also responsible for leading key projects on behalf of the Institutional Client Management team.

Ms. Yankey joined Fidelity in 2006 and has over 15 years' industry experience. She has a wealth of experience working in a number of different areas, including as a National Account Specialist, an Institutional Account Coordinator and as an Institutional Account Analyst where she was responsible for managing service for clients in the defined contribution, sub advised, packaged program and insurance segments of Fidelity’s institutional business.

Sales and Consultant Relations

Tracey Wong
Vice President, Sales and Consultant Relations
Tracey Wong serves as the Vice President of Sales and Consultant Relations at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, she leads a team dedicated to fostering and expanding relationships with plan sponsors, institutional investment consultants and outsourced CIO providers in Canada. Ms. Wong also oversees the RFP and database team, positioning Fidelity’s products and capabilities within the Canadian institutional marketplace.

Bringing over 25 years of institutional investment expertise, Ms. Wong has held diverse leadership roles within Fidelity since 2006. Notably, she chaired the Women at Work committee and was an active member of Fidelity's ESG Corporate Sustainability and Investments committees.

Ms. Wong holds a BSc from Carleton University and an MBA from Warwick University. Beyond her professional endeavours, she contributes as the Chair of the Board for the Bayview Glen School and serves as the Chair of the Policy and Risk Committee at the same institution.
Stéphanie Mariamo
Vice President, Institutional Business Development
Stéphanie Mariamo is Vice President, Institutional Business Development at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, she is responsible for leading Defined Contribution (DC) business development efforts, focusing on Capital Accumulation Plans and working with consultants across Canada.

Ms. Mariamo joined Fidelity in August 2024 and has over 16 years of industry experience. Before taking her current role, Ms. Mariamo served as a senior DC consultant at Mercer and is distinguished as a strategic thought leader due to her technical expertise, deep industry knowledge and strong relationship-building skills. Her extensive experience in pension management began with her role as an actuarial consultant for defined benefit pension plans before joining Mercer in 2015.
Jacques Doan
Vice President, Institutional Sales
Jacques Doan serves as Vice President, Institutional Sales at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he is responsible for expanding relationships with plan sponsors in Quebec and the Maritimes.

Mr. Doan brings over 15 years of experience in the institutional investment industry, with deep expertise across private markets. Before joining Fidelity in 2025, he spent over five years at Nuveen Investments, focusing on private credit, natural resources, real assets and traditional asset classes. He has held senior roles at several other Canadian-based firms.

Mr. Doan graduated from the Université de Montréal and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder.
Catherine Dimitriadis
Vice President, Institutional Sales, Manitoba, Saskatchewan & Ontario
Catherine Dimitriadis is Vice President, Institutional Sales at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, she is responsible for institutional management sales focusing on the defined benefit, defined contribution, endowment and foundation marketplace in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

Ms. Dimitriadis joined Fidelity in January 2017, and has extensive experience in institutional equity sales, having developed and maintained client relationships with leading financial institutions in Canada in her previous role.
Enlai Lim
Director, Consultant Relations
Enlai Lim is Director, Consultant Relations, at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining relationships with the pension consultant community in Ontario and Western Canada, communicating Fidelity’s asset management capabilities and partnering with consultants to help provide solutions for their clients.

With over 15 years’ industry experience, Ms. Lim joined Fidelity as a Manager, Consultant Relations, in 2011, responsible for providing support for the Consultant Relations team, maintaining Fidelity’s presence in consultants’ databases and managing the RFP team.
Jeffrey Peyer
Director, Consultant Relations
Jeffrey Peyer is Director, Consultant Relations, at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he is responsible for maintaining relationships with the pension consultant community in Quebec, Eastern Canada and Alberta, communicating Fidelity’s asset management capabilities and partnering with consultants to help provide solutions for their clients.

Mr. Peyer joined Fidelity in 2010 and has over 14 years of industry experience. Before taking his current role, he was a Senior Product Solutions Analyst in Fidelity’s Retail Product Development team and was responsible for assisting with the development and launch of Fidelity’s retail mutual fund products and solutions. He is also a member of the Fidelity Sustainable Investing committee.

Mr. Peyer earned his Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from the University of Ottawa. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. He also holds the Fellow of CSI (FCSI) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential from SASB.
Charissa Lai
Director, Institutional Private Markets
Charissa Lai serves as Director, Institutional Private Markets at Fidelity Canada Institutional. Ms. Lai will be instrumental in advancing the firm’s alternatives strategy and building momentum in this rapidly growing area.

Ms. Lai brings strong Private Markets expertise from leading institutions, including Canada Pension Plan Investments (CPP Investments). Her experience spans funds, secondaries, co-investments, investment strategy and portfolio construction. She began her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley.
Samantha Lamon
Manager, Consultant Relations
Samantha Lamon is Manager, Consultant Relations at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, she is responsible for working with consultants to provide information on Fidelity’s products and services, and leading Fidelity’s RFP team.

Ms. Lamon joined Fidelity’s institutional business in 2001 and has a wealth of experience. She has worked in a number of different areas, including as a Supervisor, Sales Support, a Sales Analyst, and most recently as a Senior Institutional Services Manager, where she was responsible for managing relationships with Ontario clients and leading key projects on behalf of the Institutional Client Management team.

Institutional distribution and client onboarding

Shane Ayres
Vice President, Institutional Distribution and Corporate Sustainability
Shane Ayres is Vice President, Institutional Distribution and Corporate Sustainability at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he leads the firm's Platform Businesses (Defined Contribution, Sub Advised and Insurance) and client onboarding. He also heads the Corporate Sustainability team responsible for ensuring there is continuous improvement across the firm.

Mr. Ayres joined Fidelity in 2004 and has over 20 years' industry experience. Before his current role, Mr. Ayres was Vice President, Institutional Distribution, and prior to that he was Director, Institutional Sales and Service, responsible for overseeing divisional strategic initiatives and client onboarding, as well as the day-to-day operations of the business. Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Ayres worked at Canada Life, providing retirement services to pension plan sponsors and their employees. He has been in the investment industry since 1997.
Konnor Stoker
Institutional Services Manager
Konnor Stoker is Institutional Services Manager at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he is responsible for managing service for our clients in the defined contribution, sub advised, packaged program and insurance segment of Fidelity’s institutional business. He is also responsible for leading key projects on behalf of the firm’s Platform Businesses team.

Mr. Stoker joined Fidelity’s institutional division in 2020 and has held roles as an Institutional Service Analyst supporting client transitions and as an Investment Associate covering U.S., international, global and emerging markets equity strategies.
Christy Koh
Manager, Client Transitions
Christy Koh is Manager, Client Transitions, at Fidelity Institutional Canada. In this role, she leads a dedicated team of investment service analysts overseeing client transitions and cash-flow management across a diverse range of institutional segments. This includes defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, endowments, foundations, corporate clients, banks and insurance companies.

Ms. Koh leads her team in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience while expertly managing the complexities of large-scale transitions. Her deep industry expertise enables her to drive operational excellence and consistently deliver high levels of client satisfaction.

Ms. Koh joined Fidelity in 2022 with over 15 years of experience in financial services, spanning both investment banking and investment management. She has held senior operational roles, including assistant vice president, risk and control compliance , and has worked in key global financial centres such as Sydney, London and New York, bringing a broad international perspective and extensive industry expertise.
Cristian Calvieri
Institutional Accounts Analyst
Cristian Calvieri is an Institutional Accounts Analyst at Fidelity Canada Institutional. In this role, he supports clients across the defined contribution, subadvised and insurance segments of the firm’s institutional business. He also contributes to strategic initiatives as a member of the Platform Businesses team.

Mr. Calvieri joined Fidelity’s institutional division in 2024 as an institutional service analyst supporting client transitions. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing cash flow activity and ensuring accuracy across institutional account servicing and operational processes.
